One item, six chances
Spotting a good deal starts with remembering what things usually cost. Daily Costcodle makes that small shopping habit into a guessing game. Each day, everyone gets one Costco find, its brand and pack size, and six chances to guess its reference price in US dollars.
You do not need to recognize every item. Higher and lower hints help you narrow the range, and a guess within 5% wins. It is a quick way to compare your shopping instincts with a friend’s, then come back for a different item tomorrow.
Why one puzzle a day?
A shared daily item gives everyone the same starting point. Your first instinct might be very different from someone who buys that pack every week. The limit of six guesses makes each hint useful, while one puzzle keeps the game small enough to fit into a break.
There is no endless mode. The next challenge starts at midnight UTC, and the game page includes a countdown. You can share your finished result without putting the reference price in the shared text.
An independent fan-made game
Daily Costcodle is inspired by Costcodle by Kerm and uses its own implementation and independently collected product catalog. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Costco Wholesale. Product names and imagery belong to their respective owners.
A game of reference prices
Photos and price references are sourced from Costco Food Database. Each daily answer is a fixed reference snapshot so the target stays the same throughout the day. Actual warehouse or online prices can differ by location, date, and pack size.
The site is a game rather than a shopping offer or inventory checker. Read our price source explanation, check the full game rules, or make today’s first guess.
